What an amazing year it has been! A bittersweet, major life event just took place in our family: My son just turned one and I look forward to all his adventures & changes to come!
Things I have learned along this road called parenthood:
-it is nothing like you expect it will be
-Chores are overrated, sleep is not
-the true meaning of "major on the majors, minor on the minors"
-patience IS a virtue
-kids are expensive, but worth every penny
-God made dirt, and dirt don't hurt
-flexibility
-the true value of time, wondering what I used to do with all mine?
-be as present in the moment as you possibly can be, because time truly does fly--if you don't like a stage of your child, it goes fast, and if you do like a stage of your child it goes fast!
AND just how truly blessed I am to experience this amazing journey of parenthood with a wonderful partner & son!!!!

What special (at the moment) photo's! Ben is a lucky boy to be so VERY LOVED. He's a happy and beautiful boy, so photographing him as your subject, could be easier than some models. Love the photo's and thanks for sharing............
